Change Fx™ is a web-based tool designed to measure change communications effectiveness. This is important because many strategic initiatives fail due to lack of employees education and inspiration to support them. The Change Fx™ tool can be used to diagnose problems in communications processes and strategy while providing information to make them more powerful and effective. Change Fx™ can also be used to measure and track the effectiveness of change management communications over time and benchmark against other initiatives or other companies. The graphical representation of the results makes it quick and easy to share with senior executives, particularly to non-communications specialists.

Change Fx™ evaluates communication effectiveness using the following criteria:

• Clear, shared vision
• Leadership alignment
• Communications process (metrics, vehicles, etc.)
• Communications impact (inspiration to act/change behavior)
• Employee enrollment - Cultural alignment

The process is simple. Employees log in to the web site and complete a short questionnaire. Respondents do not need to enter text. Responses are selected by simple clicks of radio buttons. The entire survey can be completed within 3-5 minutes.

Individual responses are confidential. However, secure real-time online review of summary results for each question can be made available to select individuals within your organization with password protection. (Note that for demonstration purposes, our demo site allows everyone to view real time summary results for each question.)

After all responses are entered, Inward provides management with a graphical summary of the evaluation criteria. Weighted average ratings for each criteria are displayed in a radial graph format. Detailed reports outlining the distribution of responses to each question are also generated.

Change Fx™ uses a standard set of evaluation questions and criteria to measure the overall effectiveness of a change communication initiative. However, the questions and criteria can be customized as needed to meet unique client requirements.

Security of confidential information is maintained via a number of technologies. Secure access is provided via password protection. Secure results viewing is provided only to identified individuals. Surveys are created using SSL (secure socket layer) communication security protocol.
